ASEAN Open Skies protocols welcome sa CEB

WELCOME sa Philippine leading carrier na Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB),ang ratipikasyon ng Philippine government sa ASEAN Open Skies agreement.

Sa kasunduang ito, pahihintulutan ang designated carriers ng ASEAN countries na makapag-operate ng unlimited flights sa pagitan ng capitals, na hahantong sa mas mainam na ‘connectivity’ at higit na competitive fares and services.

Ang CEB ay kasalukuyang nag-aalok nang higit na bilang ng flights at destinasyon sa ASEAN mula sa Filipinas. Ang airline ay lumilipad sa 11 destinations sa pitong ASEAN countries, kabilang ang Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia (Siem Reap), Indonesia (Bali at Jakarta), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur at Kota Kinabalu), Singapore, Thailand (Bangkok at Phuket), at sa Vietnam (Hanoi at Saigon).

Sa pamamagitan ng CEB’s interline agreement sa Tigerair Singapore, ang CEB ay nag-aalok din ng flights patungo sa Myanmar (Yangon), via Singapore.

Sa Open Skies, ang CEB ay maaaring makapagdagdag ng flights patungo at mula sa key destinations sa ASEAN, para matugunan ang lumalaking travel demand sa loob ng rehiyon.

Ang mga pasahero mula sa international destinations ay maaari rin samantalahin ang lowest year-round fares at widest domestic network ng CEB, upang madaling makakonekta sa alin mang sikat na isla sa Filipinas.

Alinsunod sa regulatory approvals, ang kasunduan ay magpapahintulot sa carriers na i-upgrade ang kanilang ASEAN flights sa wide-bodied aircraft at mapataas ang kapasidad nang hindi na kakailanganin ang ‘air talks.’

Sa streamlined process na ito ay makapagtutuon ang CEB sa pagpapalawak ng kanilang operasyon, at mapagbubuti ang kanilang customer experience at hindi na gagamit pa ng valuable resources para makipagnegosasyon para sa karagdagang air rights.

Ang CEB ay nag-aalok ng flights sa network nang mahigit 90 routes sa 64 destinations, spanning Asia, Australia, at Middle East. Ito ay nakatakdang maglunsad ng direct flights sa pagitan ng Manila at Guam, ang una nitong US destination ay noong Marso 15, 2016.
