Ayon pa rin kay Nadine, ang isa sa mga pinakamahalagang bagay na natutuhan n’ya sa pagyao ng kapatid ay to make her loved ones feel appreciated every single day.
“Kasi hindi mo alam kung hanggang kailan lang or kung gaano lang katagal magla-last iyang mga iyan sa iyo,”diin n’ya.
The actress also shared that she has learned to accept the death, reasoning that, ”what’s meant to happen will happen.”
Lustre was with her boyfriend, James Reid, for the interview.
Reid said that the painful incident had a profound effect on Lustre, noting that she became more open with her feelings.
“I think it’s because she kept trying to be strong for her family, for everyone who’s looking up to her,” he pointed out. ”She was really holding her emotions in and didn’t want to let them go.”
“And that was one of the things I tried to get out her —na it’s OK to feel sad, it’s OK to cry and let it out, it’s natural, it’s just human. I think after that, she really learned to open up and trust me with her emotions,” he added.
As the interview aired, Lustre’s fans took to Twitter to praise her for her strength in talking about her pain.
