Palasyo nakatutok sa K-12 Program

PATULOY na mino-monitor ng Malacañang ang mga problema sa pagpapatupad ng senior high school sa ilalim ng K-12 program sa bansa.

Sinabi ni Communications Sec. Sonny Coloma, nakatutok ang Department of Education (DepEd) sa ano mang problemang lulutang sa unang taon nang pagpapatupad ng senior high school program.

Ayon kay Coloma, patuloy na nagtutulungan ang mga magulang, mga guro at komunidad upang maging matagumpay ang K-12 program para sa world class na educational system sa bansa.

Ngayong school year 2016-2017 ay opisyal nang ipinatupad ang senior high school at tinatayang nasa 1.5 milyong estudyante ang nasa Grade 11 batay sa record ng DepEd.

“DepEd continues to monitor and address all concerns pertaining to the opening of senior high schools in line with the full implementation of the K-to-12 program. The unified efforts of parents, teachers, and communities and all stakeholders will continue contribute to more effective implementation which is essential to bringing our educational system to parity with global standards,” ani Coloma.
