HINDI na iaapela ng ABS-CBN sa Office of the President ang ipinataw na 12-day suspension ng Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) sa It’s Showtime.
Base sa inilabas na pahayag ng Kapamilya Network noong Biyernes ng gabi, October 6, iginagalang nila ang desisyon ng nasabing ahensiya at hindi na nga ito iaakyat sa Office of the President.
“After careful consideration, ABS-CBN has decided not to appeal to the Office of the President.
“After careful consideration, ABS-CBN has decided not to appeal to the Office of the President the decision of the MTRCB on ‘It’s Showtime’ and instead serve the 12-day suspension starting Oct. 14,” saad sa inilabas na official statement ng ABS-CBN.
Sa kabila ng pagtanggap ng desisyon ng MTRCB sa It’s Showtime, nanindigan ang Kapamilya Network na walang naging paglabag ang nasabing noontime show sa anumang batas.
Lubos naman ang pasasalamat ng ABS-CBN sa patuloy na pagsuporta at pagmamahal ng madlang pipol sa It’s Showtime.
