HINDI napigiliang hindi sagutin ni Kris Aquino ang isang social media influencer na nangangalang James Deakin dahil sa ipinost nitong panayam kay Senador Bongbong Marcos noong kumandidato siya sa pagka-Bise Presidente sa nakaraang taon.
Ayon sa post ni Kris madaling araw ng Linggo, ”was peacefully recuperating but a Road Safety Enthusiast and Influencer had to drag me as a “shield” when he got some unwanted reactions because of a picture that had been posted to drum up some noise for an upcoming vlog.

Ang nasabing post ni Deakin na kasama sina Bongbong, Brandon Vera, at Jun Falafox, ay para sa vlog niyang, ”How do you solve a problem like Manila.”
Post pa ni Deakin: ”So for the record, I’m not a BBM defender. Nor am I a detractor.
“I’m a transport journalist and road safety advocate that is passionate about finding solutions to this traffic crisis we are all going through.
“And that requires having conversations and interviews with a whole range of people.
“Not just people that I like or who agree with me. And that is the very least you should expect from an objective journalist.”

Samantala, nagka-ayos na sina Kris at James dahil hiningi ng huli ang numero ng Queen of Online World and Social Media kay Luis Manzano na ipinaalam naman din sa kanyang naudlot na ‘ninang’ sana sa kasal nila ni Angel Locsin.
In-screenshots ni Kris ang mensahe sa kanya ni Luis na, ”Hi Ninang! James Deakin is asking if he can get your number, can I give it? – Luis” na kaagad namang sinagot ng, ”hey there, sure.”
Humingi ng paumanhin si James, ”I see in hindsight now I shouldn’t have gone there and for that I am truly sorry. You’ve been nothing but gracious with me. And you don’t deserve to be dragged into this mess. I do hope you can accept my apology.”
At tinanggap naman ito ni Kris, ”James Deakin, i sincerely appreciate the humble gesture to reach out, apologize & clear the air quickly.”
Bago naman matapos ang balitang ito ay muling nag-post si Kris kahapon ng bandang 3:00 p.m., ”I was in & out of sleep for most of the weekend, will finally have my favorite chicken breast tinola & brown rice for a late lunch.
