BoC-central alarm station monitoring unit (CASMU)

ANG BOC Enforcement and Security Service (ESS) ay may malaking obligasyon sa taong bayan.

Ang mga Customs police na nakatalaga sa Manila International Container port (MICP) ay may bagong division na Central Alarm Station Monitoring Unit (CASMU) to address the threat against the transporting or entry of  nuclear and other radioactive materials or the use of other devices na maaaring makapuslit sa ating bansa.

Sila ay responsible for the safety, protection and security to detect trafficking ng mga weapon of mass destruction.

Pero alam kaya ng customs service providers/brokers ang papel ng CASMU ay very dangerous to their health?

Hindi biro-biro ang kanilang responsibilidad.

The goal is to screen as many cargo or containers

passing through the port from import & export and including transhipments containers will have to pass the inspection area  of CASMU.

Meaning, lahat ay daraan for X-ray inspection.

Ang tanong lang naman dito hindi ba hazardous o delikado ang trabahong ito?

May mga tamang protection suit ba sila para makaiwas sa radiation?

Huling tanong, lahat ba ng pantalan ng customs ay may Radiation Detection Equipment and Alarm Communication System o ang MICP lang?
