NAPAGKASUNDUAN kapwa ng Star Cinema at ni Direk Erik Matti na maghiwalay na o hindi na ituloy ang pagdidirehe ng pelikulang Darna dahil sa kanilang creative differences.
Sa Press Statement na ipinadala ni Kane Errol Choa, Head, Integrated Corporate Communications ng ABS-CBN, sinabi nitong, “ABS-CBN, Star Cinema, and director Erik Matti have mutually decided to part ways in the filming of ‘Darna’ because of creative differences and to allow the filmmaker to work on his other projects under his own production company Reality Entertainment.”
Tiniyak naman ng ABS-CBN at Star Cinema na gagawin pa rin nila ang Darna.
“ABS-CBN and Star Cinema, however, are fully committed to bringing the iconic character to the big screen for today’s generation of moviegoers to witness the story of the well-loved Pinoy comics superhero.”
Ihahayag na lamang kung sino ang papalit kay Direk Matti para idirehe ang Darna.
