Is that so? Hahahahahahahahahahaha! Pity for these people who can’t accept the fact that inasmuch as Ms. Aunor happens to be a consum- mate performer, the fact remains that she’s no longer capable of enticing the multitude to the cine- mas where her movies are being shown. Kng si Ate Vi kasi ay never na sinet-aside ang kanyang mga fans mereseng she’s now into a totally different field of endea-vor, Ate Guy appears to have lost her fabled rapport with the fans as the years go by. Pa’no naman kasi niya magiging priority ang kanyang mga fans when she was having a hard time fending off the onslaught of poverty in the US of A? Come to think of it, nakahahabag naman ang mga fansitas na ‘to (not all huh? some Noranians that I know are pretty sensible and nice) na wala nang ginawa kundi magngangawngaw at i-down si Governor Vi gayong wala namang sinasabing below the belt ang mga Vilmanians sa kanila. Hayan at may nilalabas pa silang ‘imagined’ figures lately flagrantly alluding that Ekstra is supposedly an abysmal flop.

You guys believe so? Heto na ang latest earnings ng Ekstra sa US of A. As of this writing, it has grossed $140,000 US dol -lars and still counting. Kumusta naman ‘yung blockbuster na Ang Kwento ni Mabuti na nag-gross lang ng 400 thousand sa recent- ly concluded CineFilipino. Hahahahahahahahahaha! No offense meant kay Ms. Nora Aunor who happens to be a most consummate performer pero napakaliit talaga ng kinita ng CineFilipino (almost 3 million gross lang in its totality so I was told) as com -pared sa gross ng Cine Malaya. Honestly and cattiness aside, luging-lugi raw si Mr. Manny Pangilinan na nagbigay pa ng 1.5 million incentive sa bawat entry, eh walo ‘yon. Pa’no na?

Hahahahahahahahahahaha!

Buti na lang ang laki ng kinikita ng mga negosyo ni Mr. Manny kaya oks lang sa kanya ‘yon. For if not, hindi kaya pinanawan na siya nang ulirat? Hahahahahahahahahahaha! ‘Yun na!

BAKIT PARANG NAPABAYAAN NA SA KUSINA?

Shakira ang mga fansitas ng dating hunky contravida na ‘to na lumabas kamakailan sa telebisyon after years of hibernating from the industry. ‘Yun nga lang, disenchanted ang kanyang mga followers dahil wala na ang angas ng kanyang personalidad at ganda ng kanyang katawan na noo’y alagang-alaga niya sa pagwo-workout sa gym at minsa’y pinantasya ng mga vaklushi. Hahahahahahaha! His once flat tummy has now grossly ballooned and is horrific to look at. Harharharharhar! Even his once appealing countenance is now devoid of its usual flair and pleasant good looks. In short, bluntly stated, he seems to have become obese and has aged considerably and is nolonger appealing to look at. Hahahahahahahahahaha! Kung hindi niya aayusin ang kanyang sarili, sa mga cheap contravida roles na nga lang siya maa-as- sign at hindi na uubra sa mga lead contravida roles na cool ang dating. Sayang naman! ‘Yun lang!

HAPPY FOR PING MEDINA

I’m so very happy for actor Ping Medina. Dati-rati, sa mga soap operas sa Dos, Cinco at Siyete ko lang siya napanonood and lately, sa mga indie movies kung saan hinahangaaan ang husay niya sa pag-arte. Dapat lang naman since his dad happens to be a seasoned actor who’s still very much into ac- ting lately. Anyway, Ping is venturing into a totally different field of late. He’ll be hosting, along with Ms. Bernadette Herrera-Dy, Philippine Book of Records at GMA News TV from 2-2:30 in the afternoon every Sunday. The show premiered last Sunday and every Sunday thereof, the public is going to be treated to some interesting collections of records made by the citizens of the Philippines only as the show attempt to compile interesting stories of success and put on record everything that’s first and has origina- ted in the our country. “Interesting itong show namin pero siyempre, di maiwasang mangangapa muna kami ni Ms. Bernadette,” asseverates Ping who’s never done any hosting similar to this in his entire showbiz career. “But I’m positive na sabay kaming matututo.” At any rate, kung naging seasoned dramatic actor siya at so young an age, there is no reason why Ping won’t be able to adapt to his new role in no time at all. The show, incidentally, is produced by Ms. Miles T. Gamboa and she’s optimistic that in no time at all, they’ll be able to have some captive market for their show. That’s the spirit.
