Health protocol mahigpit na ipatutupad sa construction work — DHSUD

NAGBABALA ang Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) sa mga construction companies na kanilang ipasasara kung hindi masusumod ang mandatory safety protocols na inilatad bago mag-umpisa ang mga trabaho sa construction at iba pang aktibidad sa larangan ng real estate na naantala bunsod ng coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

 

Ayon sa Department Order 2020-005 na pinirmahan ni DHSUD Secretary Eduardo del Rosario, may limang mandatory requirements na dapat sundin ng mga developer bago makapag-umpisang magpatrabaho.

 

Ayon kay Del Rosario ang mga requirements ay COVID-19 tests para sa nga manggagawa o ang limang araw na quarantine para sa lahat ng magbabalik sa trabaho; ang pagtatayo ng “safe and hygienic on-site or near-site barracks or quarters for workers; probisyon para sa pinansiyal na tulong sa mga manggagawa sakaling magkasakit ng COVID-19 habang nagtatrabaho; health insurance at face mask para sa lahat ng manggagawa.

 

“Our guidelines are mandatory, we expect you to follow all these for the safety and protection of your workers, your project sites and the general community,” ani Del Rosario.

 

Aniya, kailangan magpadala ng abiso sa mga regional offices ng kagawaran ang mga construction firms bago mag-umpisang magtrabaho.

 

“Issue or send a certification to our Regional Offices electronically that you have already complied with the requirements and you can resume construction works after 24 hours,” dagdag niya.

 

Nagbabala si Del Rosario na malaki ang parusa sa mga hindi susunod sa alituntunin ng DHSUD.

 

“Any non-compliance shall warrant the imposition of a Cease and Desist Order against the covered entities,” ayon sa hepe ng DHSUD. (GERRY BALDO)
