INIHAYAG ni Justice Secretary Leila de Lima na makikipag-coordinate siya sa isinasagawang imbestigasyon ng Supreme Court sa isang ‘Ma’am Arlene,’ ang tinaguriang Janet Lim Napoles ng hudikatura.
“In principle, I would go for and support any such probe. And if (the Department of Justice/National Bureau of Investigation) is asked by SC, particularly the (Chief Justice), to be involved in such probe, then we’ll gladly undertake yet another important assignment,” pahayag ni De Lima.
Gayonman, idiniin niyang mas nanaisin niyang maghintay sa hudikatura sa susunod nilang hakbang.
“At this point, I would not want to preempt any move or initiative that the leadership of the judiciary, a separate and co-equal branch, would deem proper to undertake relative to those allegations of a ‘Napoles’ in the judiciary,” aniya.
Nitong Huwebes, inihayag ni Court Administrator Jose Midas Marquez, iniimbestigahan na niya nang tahimik ang sinasabing korupsyon sa hudikatura na isinasagawa ni “Ma’am Arlene.”
