Tumapos si Tiu ng 6.5 points sa seven games para magkampeon at makopo ang top prize P10,000 sa one day event na inorganisa ng Bayanihan Chess Club, suportado ni Coach National Master Gerald Ferriol sa pakikipagtulungan nina China Aurelio at Mimi Casas ng Open Kitchen, sanctioned ng National Chess Federation of the Philippines na pinangasiwaan ng Philippine Arbiters Chess Confederation.
Sina International Master Daniel Quizon, Arena Grandmaster Jose Rafael “Jojo” Legaspi at International Master Jan Emmanuel Garcia ay magkasalo sa 2nd hanggang 4th places na may tig 6.0 points.
Pasok sa top 10 sina International Master Ronald Dableo, FIDE Master David Elorta, National Master Gerardo Cabellon, National Master Bob Jones Liwagon, National Master Robert Suelo, Jr., at National Master Noel dela Cruz na may tig 5.5 points.
Nakatangap ng special award ang 6-anyos na si Marco Polo Sanido at ang 7-anyos na si Zeus Lester Manaois.
Samantala, lalarga ang Sir Herky Del Mundo Memorial Rapid Open Chess Tournament ngayong araw ng Martes, 3 Enero 2023, 2:00 pm sa nasabing venue.
