Antipolo City, Rizal team lalahok sa Sen. Manny Pacquiao Tuna Festival chess meet

MANILA — Nagbigay ng kahandaan ang Antipolo City, Rizal team players na lalahok sa Sen. Manny Pacquiao Tuna Festival meet Tatluhan Chess Team Tournament sa General Santos City mula 2-4 Seteymbre 2022, ito ay matapos isiwalat ni Antipolo City, Rizal Playing Team Manager Coach/Pastor Jason Rojo.

Ang iba pang kalahok ay sina Fide Master Christopher Castellano, Candidate Master Genghis Katipunan Imperial at DepEd Teacher Sonny Dela Rosa.

“I personally believe that Filipino posses skills and talents to excel in this kind of mind sports game (chess),” sabi ni Antipolo City, Rizal Playing Team Manager Coach/Pastor Jason Rojo.

“We would like to thank Antipolo City mayor Casimiro “Jun” Ynares III and Rizal Province governor Rebecca “Nini” Alcantara Ynares who supporting the Antipolo City, Rizal chess team in this tough and prestigious event,” dagdag ni Rojo.

Sina Antipolo City mayor Casimiro “Jun” Ynares III at Rizal Province governor Rebecca “Nini” Alcantara Ynares ang sumuporta sa kampanya ng woodpushers sa prestigious event na punong abala sina Sen. Manny Pacquiao at businessman Changsuk Lyu na inorganisa ni United States chess master Rodolfo “Jun” Panopio, Jr.

Bukod sa General Santos City competition, si FM Castellano, dating University of the Philippines Conservatory of Music student at Tenor Music Artist ay makikipagtagisan ng talino sa ilan sa world’s brightest chess athletes sa South Island Chess Championships mula 5-9 Oktubre 2022 sa Kelvin Hotel sa Invercargill, New Zealand.
