MULING nanalasa si Dasmarinas City bet International Master Michael Concio Jr. na consistent winner ng online weekly tournaments sa paghahari sa Pinoy Open Online Blitz Chess Championship nitong weekend virtually na ginanap via chess.com platform.
Nakapagtala si Concio ng Arena 50.0 points para magkampeon sa 2 day (April 16 and 17) online tournament.
Nakilala si Concio nang magkampeon sa 2nd Eastern Asia Juniors and Girls Championship sa Tanauan, Batangas tungo sa pagkopo ng International Master title noong Disyembre 15, 2019.
“We do this to promote chess in the grassroots level and discover new sports talents,” sabi ni Arena Grandmaster Rey Urbiztondo na siyang utak ng nasabing torneo.
Bida rin si International Master Ronald Dableo ng Philippine Army chess team at head coach ng University of Santo Tomas chess team na nakamit ang second place honors na may Arena 47 points , habang sina Fide Master Roel Abelgas at Grandmaster Darwin Laylo ay kapwa nagrehistro naman ng Arena 45 points para pumuwesto sa third at fourth place.
