Injunction vs Biazon’s CPO ibinasura ng korte

NABIGO man makakuha ng writ of preliminary injunction ang mga tumutol sa Customs Personnel Order (CPO) bukas pa rin sa kanila si Commissioner Ruffy Biazon na makipagtulungan para sa pagsusulong ng reporma sa Bureau.

Aniya, “We welcome the decision of Manila regional trial court (RTC) Branch 17 in denying the application for the issuance of a Writ of Preliminary Injunction against the Customs Personnel Order (CPO) assigning 13 collectors to the Customs Policy Research Order (CPRO).”

Idinagdag ni Biazon, bagamat ang isyu ng temporary restraining order (TRO) at writ of preliminary injunction laban sa CPO ay pansamantalang nakaapekto sa isinusulong na reporma sa Bureau of Customs (BoC), napatunayan naman na ang nasabing inisyatiba ay kayang haharapin maging ang mga hamon at usaping legal sa nasabing isyu.

Umaasa si Biazon na ang pagbasura sa preliminary injunction ang magtutuldok sa mga isyu ng pagtutol sa isinusulong na reporma sa BoC.

Aniya, “We hope that this resolution will compel all parties to move in the same direction towards reform in the BOC.”          (BONG SON)
