Boots pinahanga ni Barbie: ang galing sa nuances, magugulat ka

UNANG pagsasama sa isang pelikula nina Ms. Boots Anson-Rodrigo, Barbie Forteza, at Ms. Charo Santos-Concio at ito ay sa Until She Remembers na isinulat at idinirehe ni Brillante Mendoza.

Lahad ni Ms. Boots, “It’s my privilege to work with Charo, Barbie and of course direk Brillante [Mendoza].

“Nasa bucket list ko po ang lumabas sa ganitong uri ng pelikula. At ‘yung makasama ko ‘yung mga kasama ko po rito ngayon.

“Bakit bucket list, kasi iyon pong role ko rito ay kaiba sa lahat ng roles na nai-portray ko in all my more than 50 years in the movies.

“And what is wonderful is that the intimacy, the love that is depicted in this movie is different.

“It can be difficult but it is such a comfort na ang kasama ko sa eksena ay si Charo na matagal ko ng kaibigan.”

Papuri rin ang inihayag ni Ms. Boots para kay Barbie.

“Kami pong matatanda mayroon din po kaming role model kahit bata sa amin and Barbie is one of them.

“Sa akin pong pagtingin, she is probably the brightest in the generation that she belongs to.

“Kasi itong batang ito, ang galing sa nuances, magugulat ka, mayroong gagawin na angkop naman sa eksena pero hindi mo aakalaing somebody as young as her to think of doing that. 

“So once I told her, ‘Barbie for your age, you’re not even 30 pero ang utak mo pang-50-anyos na.’

“So it’s really a privilege to work with her, and of course Charo and direk Brillante.”
