Ayon pa kay Ranvel, “However, we don’t view this as a competition. We have immense respect for the artists who came before us and recognize the groundwork they’ve laid. Our focus is not on outshining others, but on contributing meaningfully to growth of the industry.
“VVINK’s mission aligns with a larger purpose—to be part of the continued evolution of Original Pilipino Music and to rise alongside fellow artists, not apart from them.”
“The group’s name, pronounced like wink, carries layered meaning and intention.
“The double V symbolizes Double Victory, Double Vision, and the duality of past and future. Visually, the mirrored V’s form a W, representing ‘Win.’
“The name also alludes to key milestones and values, two years of training, two tracks released by each member during their pre-debut.
“Second chances and fresh starts… a reminder that growth often comes from beginning again.
“VVINK reflects grit, hope, and the belief that artistry evolves when people rise again with purpose.
“Their name and journey embody resilience, a testament to how second chances and unwavering passion can forge something truly powerful in both music and identity.”
“It was chosen as VVINK’s debut single because it perfectly captures a feeling so many can relate to, the chaos and sweetness of young love hitting you hard and unexpectedly.
“It’s fun, fresh, and emotionally honest, just like VVINK.Even the title ‘Tulala’ carries layered meaning.
“Phonetically, it hints at ‘Tu’ (two) and ‘La-La’ (a doubled syllable), which subtly nods to the group’s core narrative.
“Our vision for VVINK is to be one of the recognized movers of P-pop and OPM alongside other Filipino artists who already have great contributions.
“We want our songs heard here and other places, crossing borders and spreading positive vibes.
