SM wraps up 2024 with bears of joy donation and gift-giving to communities in Bulacan

SM malls in Marilao, Baliwag, and Pulilan wrap up 2024 with a heartfelt gift-giving and Bears of Joy distribution to communities in Bulacan.

The holiday season became extra meaningful for Tagalog and Dumagat tribes at Sitio Sapang Munti, Barangay San Mateo in Norzaray, Bulacan, as 200 kids were able to receive Bears of Joy donations from SM City Baliwag.

During  the same occasion, 115 families took home grocery packs courtesy of the Customer Relations Services (CRS) team and the Security Forces of SM City Marilao, SM City Baliwag, and SM Center Pulilan.

Furthermore, SM City Marilao led the turnover of at least 700 Bears of Joy, painting smiles across the faces of kid  beneficiaries identified by the St. Martin of Tours Parish in Bocaue, Bulacan.

More kids will welcome the new year with cheer as SM City Baliwag is set to distribute an additional 465 Bears of Joy to Tiaong Elementary School in the City of Baliwag on January 2025.

Spearheaded by SM Cares, SM Supermalls, and Toy Kingdom, SM Bears of Joy is an annual project that allows shoppers to take part in bringing happiness to the community by donating cuddly bears to bring smiles to the faces of less fortunate children.

The generous support of customers and partners has been instrumental in making the SM Bears of Joy initiative a resounding success, bringing joy and warmth to countless children nationwide. (MICKA BAUTISTA)
