MAY mensahe si Moira dela Torre para sa mga taong kasalukuyang nagdurusa dahil sa weight issues at nakararanas ng pambu-bully.

Lahad ni Moira, “Don’t be too hard on yourself. I think…I know that that’s such a cliché, and to be honest po parang how I started losing weight, it is when I stopped trying.

“So, in 2020 I actually started all these diets, I was vegan for a while, I did keto, I did intermittent, I did everything, I’ve tried everything.” 

At dito na may pasabog na ikinuwento si Moira, “and I’m sorry but I have to say this for parang trigger warning… I became bulimic for 2 years in 2020 to 2022, and it only worsened my situation, and it got me to gain more weight actually,” diretsahang pag-amin ni Moira.

“And when I stopped putting pressure on myself and when I just started allowing myself to just be, roon po parang kumalma ‘yung katawan ko and I started losing weight gradually.

“I think alam ng katawan natin ‘pag naalagaan siya ng tama, alam ng katawan natin kapag minamahal siya ng tama, so self-love is not a selfish thing. And to the people who are trying to lose weight, to the people who are trying to not care about the bullying, I want you to care more about what you think about yourself, because that matters more.”

Bagong brand ambassador ang 15-in-1 coffee na Bona Slim si Moira.

“Hindi po kasi ako mabilis tumanggap ng endorsement kasi hindi po talaga ako magaling mambola,” at natawa ang singer, “mahiyain din ako, hindi ko nga alam kung saan nanggaling ‘yung confidence na sinasabi ni Sir Jethro (Cerezo, CEO of Bona Slim) eh.
