pumirma ng Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) ang Movie and Television Review and Classification Board(MTRCB) at ang streaming service naVivamax ng Viva Inc. kamakailan para sa partnership nila na layuning i-promote ang Responsableng Panonood (Responsible Viewership) sa mga Pinoy viewer.
Nakasaad sa MOA, na pareho silang magbibigay ng mga programa at aktibidades na pumoproteksiyon sa mga manonood.
Nangako ang Viva na magpa-practice sila ng responsible self-regulation sa pamamagitan ng pagtiyak sa tamang age-rating advisory ng kanilang Video-On-Demand (VOD) content, gayundin ang pagpapatuloy ng parental control feature para sa mga subscriber within its web applications.
Ang MTRCB, bilang parte nila ay nangakong makikipag-collaborate sa Viva Inc. para maisaayos ang rating classification nito sa kanilang mga pelikula, advertising, at marketing materials.
Napagkasunduan din ng dalawa na bigyang aksiyon ang anumang content related concerns na ibinabahagi ng public sa maayos na paraan para na rin sa consumer’s well-being.
Sa speech ni MTRCB Chairperson Lala Sotto nang isagawa ang MOA-signing ceremony, sinabi nitong, “The partnership that is forged through this MOA is rooted in our shared concern for the Filipino viewing public.
“As it has done in the past, the Board allows the industry to thrive through the practice of responsible self-regulation while ensuring that each Filipino household shall have access to a safe and comfortable viewing experience.
“My sincere thanks to Vivamax Inc. President Vincent del Rosario and his team for making history as the first Filipino-owned and operated VOD to partner with MTRCB to promote Responsableng Panonood.”
