Joji Alonso for Quantum Film na pinagbidahan nina Daniel Padilla at Ms Charo Santos-Concio na idinirehe ni Carlo Francisco Manatad, ang Kun Maupay Man It Panahon (Whether the Weather is Fine) na magkakaroon ng world premiere sa Concorso Cineasti del Presente (Filmmakers of the Present) section.
Ang Kun Maupay Man It Panahon ang nag-iisang competing film mula sa Pilipinas ngayong taon sa Locarno, isang A-List international film festival na nagsisilbing platform para sa auteur cinema. Ang Cineasti del Presentesection para sa una o ikalawang feature film ng emerging global talents ay igagawad ang Pardo d’oro at award para sa directing pati na rin ang mga parangal para sa Best Actor at Best Actress.
Ang kuwento na nasa Waray dialect ay tungkol sa pinsalang dulot ng Bagyong Yolanda (Haiyan) sa Tacloban, Leyte noong Nobyembre 2013.
Isinulat ang Kun Maupay Man It Panahon ni Manatad na taga-Tacloban kasama sina Giancarlo Abrahan V at Jérémie Dubois. Ang mga producer nito ay sina Josabeth Alonso, Vincent Wang, at Armi Rae Cacanindin na sinabing, “After seven years, finally, we’ve come to this!”
Noong 2019, pinili ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) ang Kun Maupay Man It Panahonpara sa FDCP Project Market habang noong 2021, pinili ito ng FDCP Film Philippines Office upang tanggapin ang International Co-production Fund (ICOF) na may halagang PHP 2.5-M.

Napili rin ang Kun Maupay Man It Panahon ng Sorfund Pitching Forum, Talents Tokyo, Cannes Cinefondation L’Atelier, at Hanoi Project Market at developed ito sa La Fabrique des Cinema du Monde, Torino Film Lab Feature Lab 360, Semaine de la Critique Next Step, at EAVE Ties that Bind.

Ang Kun Maupay Man It Panahon ay co-producers nina Ling Tiong, Yulia Evina Bhara, Milena Klemke, Yvonne Wellie, Jakob D.
