KINILALA bilang Female News Personality of the Year ang GMA News Pillar na si Jessica Soho habang Male News Personality of the Year naman si Atom Araullo sa RAWR Awards 2020 ng LionhearTV na ginanap virtually nitong Sabado, December 5.
Sa kanyang mensahe, inialay ni Jessica sa mga bumubuo ng programa niyang State of the Nation with Jessica Soho at sa buong GMA News and Public Affairs ang nasabing award.
“To LionhearTV and its RAWR Awards, thank you very much for choosing me as the Female News Personality of the Year. It means a lot because times are hard and we’re all in this pandemic but somehow you managed to give out awards and inspiration to all of us. So this award is not only for me but for the entire staff of State of the Nation and the entire GMA News and Public Affairs organization. Thank you for this honor and for this privilege and inspiration. It couldn’t have come at a better time,” sabi ng batikang broadcast journalist.
Samantala, malaki rin ang pasasalamat ni Atom sa natanggap na award at nagsisilbing inspirasyon ito para gampanan pa nila nang mabuti ang kanilang tungkulin bilang mamamahayag.
“Gusto ko pong magpasalamat sa inyong parangal na iginawad. Isa po itong very challenging year para sa ating lahat at maging sa aming mga miyembro ng media. Marami pa tayong mga haharaping pagsubok sa mga susunod na buwan at maging mga taon. Natutuwa po ako sa award na ito dahil ito ay nagbibigay sa amin ng lakas at enerhiya para patuloy na gampanan ang aming tungkulin,” pahayag ng Stand for Truth anchor.
