Cam naghain ng libel case vs misis ni Yuzon, media

NAGHAIN ng kasong libel si Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) director Sandra Cam laban kay Lalaine Yuson dahil sa pagda­wit sa kanyang pangalan sa pagkakapaslang kay Batuan, Masbate vice mayor Charlie Yuson III.

Nabatid na inihain ni Cam ang tatlong libel case laban kay Yuson sa tanggapan ni Fiscal Dyna Pacquing ng Manila Prosecutors’ Office.

Kasama sa sinampahan ng kasong libel ang ilang publishers at reporters na naglathala ng balita na binanggit ang pangalan ni Cam matapos isangkot ni Yuson sa insidente.

Ayon kay Atty. Rizal Balbin, legal counsel ni Cam, nasa 20 libel case pa ang posible nilang ihain.

“My position in filing the case is to protect my integrity & my family, the shotgun accusation of the bereaved widow is total abhorable and she has no license to maliciously defamed my name and imputation of a crime. She should have waited the result of the investigation of the police before conducting her media press conference. We should always adhere to the rule of law as to the media, I am pleading that they should have exercised responsible journalism, innocent people like us are entitled with rights that must not be tarnished,” pahayag pa ni Cam.
