IT will be remembered that in her last interview about her oh-so-colorful love life at the presscon of I Love You, Hater last June 2018, she was feeling somewhat depressed. In the end, she identified that it was Mayor Herbert that she was alluding to.
But in her Instagram post last October 7, it appears that they have remained the best of friends.

In the caption that she did, Kris narrated how she and Mayor Herbert have remained the best of friends.
“Admittedly,” she quipped, “in 2014 HAPPILY EVER AFTER wasn’t meant for us. BUT it wasn’t THE END.
“He’s been there whenever i needed a friend, hindi na ko nagulat- nandito sya ngayon… Bakit sya? This is my WHY: nabasa nya mismo my long term endorsement contracts- renewals plus 3 new ones.
“They all strongly discourage me from divisive political participation & even posts. He wants me to regain my health & he supports my priorities.”
Anyhow, these past few days, Kris divulged how she was deceived and inordinately fooled by one people whom she entrusted the management of her production company and endorsement deals.
She had undergone some medical tests in Singapore for her sudden loss of weight and other health concerns.
But right now, she is back in the Philippines and ready to work.
In her Instagram post, Kris revealed that there was a time when she and Herbert blamed each other for what happened in their lives.
“Ako,” she elucidated, “nang magsasabi, when we fought nasumbat ko na: naging 1st daughter & 1st sister na ko — di mo ba na-appreciate na ikaw ang minahal & ‘di ‘yung posisyon mo?
“Binweltahan nya ko: kaya nga ang hirap mong maging karelasyon kasi pinaghirapan ko ‘to tapos user ang ibabato sa kin?
“I chose to share this because our story has my perspective & his point of view. i’ve survived a lot recently & you deserve our TRUTH.”
