Last June 5, 2021, Rabiya Mateo uploaded a video of her visit at the Castello di Amorosa, a popular, medieval-style Tuscan castle winery that is located in Napa Valley, California.
Rabiya’s smiling in the picture in spite of the conflicting opinions that she was able to get in connection with her break-up with her non-showbiz boyfriend Neil Salvacion.
Rabiya also left an inspirational message at the caption of her Instagram post. It said, “As you travel, you get to experience what life truly means.”
Kasama ni Rabiya ang grupo nina Andre Brouillette, the creative director of the Miss Universe Philippines Organization Jonas Gaffud and Darik Cuevas, also from MUPO.
Mukhang hindi nakasama si MJ Lastimosa sa kanilang lakad pero nag-iwan naman ito ng pabirong post in Rabiya’s Instagram post .
Her comment, “Luh luh luh tawa now iyak later (emojis)”
MJ was one of Rabiya’s confidante in her Miss Universe 2020 journey.
Last May 18, 2021 (US time), one day after the 69th edition of the Miss Universe pageant was held, hindi napigilan ni Rabiya ang sarili na maging emosyonal nang makita si MJ at ang Miss Universe Philippines Organization national director na si Shamcey Supsup.
Rabiya embraced MJ in a very tight fashion at the thanksgiving/send-off lunch that was organized by a Filipino restaurant in Miami, Florida, USA.
Kuwento ni MJ sa livestream ng Plus Talks, “No’ng nakita ko siya, wala pa kaming sinasabi at wala pang words ‘yon, hindi pa kami nag-uusap no’n…
“No’ng nakita niya lang ako, bigla na siyang na-teary-eyed, at ayun na nga, siguro naibuhos na niya ‘yung emotion niya.”
According to MJ, she told Rabiya that they are not going to talk in that occasion since there are a lot of people.
She also told her to just enjoy her time. To just travel.
Naging mas intimate at close ang kanilang friendship since MJ was one of the judges who chose Rabiya to represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant. Right now, muling magkasama si Rabiya at si MJ, at si MJ pa nga mismo ang nagsilbing hairstylist ni Rabiya bago tumungo sa meet-and-greet session nito kasama ang Fil-Am South Bay community sa Fremont, California.
