“BAKIT ba si Ara (Mina) laging nasasabit sa lalaking may karelasyon? Ayaw ba niya sa binata?” ito ang komento ng veteran columnist.
Kamakailan ay naging laman ng balita si Ara dahil nabuking siya ng girlfriend ng lalaking umano’y sinasabing karelasyon niya.
Ang kuwento ay nabasa ng girl na kaibigan pa naman ni Ara ang mga mensahe sa kanya ng guy na naging dahilan kaya nag-away ang magkarelasyon at ang worst ay hindi na matutuloy ang kasal nila.
Ang tinutukoy na babaeng kaibigan ni Ara ay si Ms Rina Navarro, miyembro ng Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB) at konektado rin sa Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).
Ang fiancé ni Ms Rina at sinasabing umano’y karelasyon ni Ara ay si Undersecretary of Department of Trade and Industry na si Dave Almarinez.
Ilang araw muna ang pinalipas ni Ms Rina bago siya naglabas ng sama ng loob sa kanyang Facebook account.

You deserve respect and love. Always. And if this is not given to you, you have the power to give it to yourself.
For every trial that comes your way, you can always stand up like I did- You may fall, men can crush you, your friends or your career may betray you, but you can always, always, stand up.
“I want to get out if this, not jaded about love, but hopeful, that God allowed this unfortunate and undeserved pain to happen to me, because He is preparing me for something greater. God will never fail to bring out the truth and take care of us. That is for sure.
“Today marks the 30th day of my journey that’s why, I’m very grateful for my family, friends, and my children who continue to give me the strength to face each day, renewed and stronger.
“As for the people who has hurt me, I want you to know that you might have broken my heart, but you have not crushed my spirit.
“So thank you, because in truth, what you have done to me, might have just saved me, without you knowing it.”
