Tinanong namin sa kausap naming executive kung ibabalik pa ng TV5 ang Entertainment department.

“I really don’t know pa, pero may mga canned shows kami, sana kasi masaya naman noon, ‘di ba?” balik-tanong sa amin.

Sinabi naming may naririnig kaming ibabalik ito at hindi lang namin alam kung ngayong last quarter ng 2016 o sa 2017 na.

“Baka nga next year na, kasi anong petsa na, mahirap naman bumuo ng show agad-agad,” katwiran sa amin.

Binanggit din naming mag-concentrate na lang sila sa game shows at reality shows bukod sa sports dahil halos wala ng artistang natira sa kanila.

“Ha, ha, ha ikaw talaga. Well, let’s see na lang. May mga artista pa naman kami, like sina Derek Ramsay na pumirma ng three years contract pa, siguro mga hanggang 2018 pa siya. Si Jasmin Curtis may kontrata siya sa amin. Si Mark Neumann, sayang nga, eh hindi sila masyadong nau-utilize kasi wala namang show,” natawang sagot sa amin.

Narito naman ang official statement ng TV5 management tungkol sa pagpasok ni Mr. Reyes bilang bagong Presidente at Chief Executive Officer.

“This is to announce the retirement of Emmanuel C. Lorenzana as President and Chief Executive Officer of Mediaquest Holdings, Inc. and TV5 Network, Inc. with effect 30th September 2016.

“In light of this development, we are appointing Vicente P. Reyes as Officer-In-Charge of TV5 Network, Inc. effective 1st October 2016.

“In this capacity, Chot will concurrently hold the position of President of Media5 Marketing Corp.”
