Kris, dumalo sa inagurasyon ni Robredo

HINDI kailangan ang mga kapatid ni Presidente Noynoy Aquino sa Malacanang kahapon nang salubungin niya ang pagpasok ng bagong Presidente ng Pilipinas na si Rodrigo Duterte kaya naman si Kris Aquino ay sa oath-taking ceremony ni incoming Vice President-elect Leni Robredo na ginanap sa Quezon City Reception House, New Manila dumalo kahapon ng umaga.

Tinanong kaagad si Kris ng mga taga-media na nasa okasyon kung bakit hindi siya pupunta ng Malakanyang pagkatapos. ”Hindi, si Noy lang. I think, ‘yun lang naman, ‘di ba? Kasi hindi naman kami asawa. Kapatid lang kami,” mabilis nitong sabi. Dugtong pa, ”No, I think, ‘di ba, if I’m not mistaken, hinahatid mo (ang outgoing president). Kasi, I think noong 2010, ‘yun din naman ang nangyari, eh. So, I think that’s protocol,” paliwanag pa ng ex-presidential sister.

Samantala, nag-post si Kris sa kanyang IG account kahapon ng 7:00 a.m. ng,”when I was praying last night, I thanked God for the memories we will treasure.

“What stood out in my heart was the opportunity to have been in the presence of @franciscus, attending His Mass w/ all other Filipinos who share our faith, and all the times Tito Noy made an extra effort to include Kuya Josh & Bimb.

“May God continue to bless President Duterte & Vice President Robredo, the success of our leaders is also the success of our country. MABUHAY ANG DEMOKRASYA! “

At habang nasa entablado si VP Leni ay nag-post uli si Kris ng, ”God bless you VP@lenirobredo,” at nagpa-picture rin silang dalawa pagkatapos ng oath-taking.
