James, sa bahay sinuyo si Nadine

IISA ang tanong sa amin ng mga kababayang nasa ibang bansa kung paano nagsimula ang relasyon nina James Reid at Nadine Samonte dahil hindi naman daw nabalitang nanligaw si Clark kay Leah.

Pero marami palang hindi alam ang OTWOLISTAS at fans ng JaDine dahil may nagaganap pala off-camera.

Nakausap ni ABS-CBN News correspondent Sheila Reyes si James at nagpakuwento siya sa aktor kung paano nagsimula ang lahat sa kanila ni Nadine.

“For me, I guess, because I am Australian, I grew up in Sydney, the way that we court girls, it’s different there. But, of course, the first person to know was her (Nadine) father. I asked permission from him first a while back. I tried to keep that Filipino tradition.”

Dinadalaw daw ni James si Nadine sa bahay at ito ang dahilan kaya bumoto ang magulang ng aktres sa aktor.

Base nga sa tweet ng mommy ni Nadine, “Thank you for loving Nadine, please take good care of her. Praying for both of you!” at naka-tag si James sa post na ito.

Maging ang ama ni James ay boto rin kay Nadine at nakunang niyakap nito ang dalaga at sana raw sila na ang magkatuluyan at bigyan siya ng maraming apo.

Anyway, sa tanong kung paano nagtapat si James kay Nadine at kung paano naman siya sinagot nito.

“And then on the 11th, we went out for dinner. I was like, ‘I bet you didn’t know I could be like this.’ She’s like, ‘Yeah, I didn’t really expect this from you.’ I said, ‘It’s different when I’m in love.’ And then she said, ‘Are you in love?’ And then I thought, you know what, right now is the right time. I told her, ‘Yes, I am.’ She knew what I was talking about,” kuwento ng binata.

Ang sagot daw ni Nadine, “she literally sat there smiling and just said, ‘Kilig ako!’”

Ito na pala ang usong sagot na ‘OO’ ngayon, ‘Kilig Ako.’

Kaya Ateng Maricris, bantayan mo ang mga dalaga mo, baka maringgan mong may sinabihan silang ‘kilig ako’ eh, alam mo na.

At dahil naipagsigawan na ni Clark ang pagmamahal niya kay Lea sa buong mundo ay inamin nitong nabunutan na siya ng tinik.

“It’s such a relief. You have no idea how relieving it is to be able to express because for me, for the longest time, I’ve had to suppress it or hide it. Now, it’s so liberating to just be able to hold her hand in public and say I love you out loud,” sabi ni James.

At wala raw nabago sa rati nilang samahan noong magkaibigan pa sila.

“Actually that’s the beautiful thing about her. She’s still my best friend. When we hang out, we are just like best friends, buddies but there’s that extra connection. Nothing changed. I just realized one day that wow, I’m in love with her,” kuwento pa ni James.

At looking forward sila sa nalalapit nilang world tour dahil sa Lake Tahoe pala nagsimulang maramdaman ng dalawa na in love sila sa isa’t isa kaya pala nasabi ni Nadine sa nakaraang JaDine Love at finale ng On The Wings of Love presscon na, “updated na ulit ang videos (tulad ng Lake Tahoe), level up.”

Say nga ni James sa ABS-CBN news, “We have this world tour coming up next and we are so excited because we are going to be visiting Paris, we are going to be visiting Milan, Rome, London, Dubai. Also, we’ll be shooting our movie somewhere else abroad where we’ve always wanted to go. Our travels will be similar to Lake Tahoe but next level.”

Sa tanong kung dahil ba sa fans nila kaya umamin ang dalawa sa kanilang relasyon?

“I didn’t really do it for the fans. I did it for my own I just wanted to do it. I expected that they would be happy for us. I’m happy that they are happy. I’m happy that everyone’s happy. Yesterday was really different,” katwiran ng aktor.

Kaya pala sabi ng aming source na lately lang naramdaman ni James na in love siya kay Nadine, pero ang huli ay matagal ng umaasa at nagkatotoo na.
