Presidential sister dawit sa DAP milk feeding project

DAPAT sumunod sa batas ang presidential sisters, gaya ng inaasahan sa lahat ng mamamayan sa bansa.

Ito ang reaksiyon ni Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma, Jr., sa isyu ng pagdawit kay presidential sister Viel Aquino-Dee sa milk feeding project ng pinamumunuan nitong Assisi Development Foundation (ADF), na tinutustusan ng pondo ng kontrobersiyal na Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP).

“Llike all citizens, they are all expected to follow the law,” ani Coloma.

Aniya, audit findings pa lang ang basehan ng naturang usapin, at may kakayahan ang National Dairy Authority (NDA) na sagutin ang kwestiyon ng Commission on Audit (COA) hinggil sa milk feeding program na isinakatuparan ng ADF sa pamamagitan ng DAP funds ng mga mambabatas.

“We expect the implementing agency, the National Dairy Authority, to respond to the audit findings, which shall serve as the basis for the Commission on Audit to finally determine if the funds allocated were properly utilized,” ani Coloma.

Batay sa CoA report, nakorner ng ADF ang 22 porsiyento ng P230 million ng DAP funds na inilaan ng NDA sa milk-feeding program ng 51 mambabatas, kabilang ang lahat ng progresibong kongresista mula sa Makabayan bloc noong 15th Congress.
