Yolanda victims bawal sa coastal (40-metro malayo sa dalampasigan)

INATASAN ng Palasyo ang Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) na konsultahin  ang lahat ng apektadong sektor bago ipatupad ang “no-build zone policy” sa mga lugar na sinalanta ng bagyong Yolanda.

“We’ll flag the DENR for this and perhaps they can set some consultations, if it’s possible, for other stakeholders that have concerns on the “no-build zone policy,” ani Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte.

Binigyang-diin ni Eslopor na ang ipinatutupad  ni Lacson na Reconstruction for Yolanda (RAY) ay pabor sa malalaking kapitalista at mga dayuhang banko na makikinabang sa malawakang pagtustos sa impra-estruktura sa gitna ng mas mahalaga at kagyat na pangangailangang tugunan ang pinsala ng Yolanda sa agrikultura.

“The RAY is patterned on the “Build Back Better” scheme in Haiti and other underdeveloped countries stricken with calamities. It is meant to perpetuate the rule of local tyrants and their foreign masters,” diin ni Eslopor.
