Aliw Awards nag-sorry kay Zsa Zsa

HUMINGI ng paumanhin ang Aliw Awards Foundation sa aktres/singer, Zsa Zsa Padillamatapos isauli ang Lifetime Achievement award nito dahil sa hindi magandang karanasan sa mismong gabi ng parangal.

Naganap ang 38th Aliw Awards noong December 15, 2025 sa Manila Hotel.

Hindi nabigyang pagkakataon si Zsa Zsa na makapagsalita matapos tawagin bilang isa sa recipient ng Lifetime Achievement Award gayung tatlo lamang silang present at umakyat sa stage.

Ani Zsa Zsa sa open letter niya sa Aliw Awards, kaagad sumenyas ang production staff sa kanila para bumaba matapos iabot ang tropeo. Umasa pa naman siyang mabibigyan silang pagkakataon na makapagsalita o makapagpasalamat man lang.  

Ilang oras matapos maglabas ng saloobin, nagpahayag naman ang Aliw Awards Foundation na humihingi ng dispensa sa singer-actress.

Ang paghinge ng paumanhin ay mula sa founder at presidente ng Aliw Awards Foundation na si Ms Alice Reyes.

Narito ang kabuuang apology statement mula kay Ms Alice na para kay Zsa Zsa.

“It is unfortunate that ZsaZsa took her not being able to speak at the Aliw awards night as an affront to her, and I apologize to her on behalf of the foundation and the production staff. Since last year we have been trying to shorten the awards rights and we thought giving the honorees their brief time in stage would suffice.

“I personally would have loved to hear what she had to say and if she had given me a sign or told one of my staff of her desire to say her piece I would have made an exception in her case.

“Again, I am truly sorry for disappointing Zsa Zsa whom I admire for her beauty and talent.

“Perhaps we can find a way to make up for it in the future.”
