P5-B ilegal na droga sinilaban ng PDEA

SINUNOG ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), ang aabot sa ₱5,321,563,665.95 halaga ng mapanganib na droga sa Integrated Waste Management, Inc. (IWMI), Barangay Aguado, Trece Martires City, Cavite nitong Martes ng umaga.

Ang pagwasak ay sinaksihan ni Secretary Oscar F. Valenzuela, Chairman ng Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB), Guest of Honor at Speaker sanasabing aktibidad.

Kasama niya ang mga pangunahing opisyal ng PDEA, lokal na opisyal ng Barangay Aguado, Trece Martires City, mga kinatawan mula sa Philippine National Police (PNP) at iba pang law enforcement agencies, Department of Justice (DOJ), at Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), non-government organizations (NGOs) at media partners.

May kabuuang 2,227.7584 kilo ng solidong ilegal na droga, at 3,447.0920 mililitro ng likidong ilegal na droga ang nawasak sa pamamagitan ng thermal decomposition o thermolysis.

Kabilang sa mga nawasak ang 738.2005 shabu; 1,478.4915 kilo ng marijuana; 4.8668 kilo ng ecstasy; 39.2168 gramo ng cocaine; 2.2116 gramo ng toluene; 6.1516 gramo ng ketamine; 5.5100 gramo ng phenacetin; 1.0400 gramo ng LSD; 2,000 ml. ng liquid cocaine; 49.0420 ml. ng liquid meth; 1,398.05 ml. ng liquid marijuana; at samot saring mga expired na gamot.

“These are pieces of drug evidence confiscated during anti-drug operations by PDEA and other counterpart law enforcement agencies, including those turned over by authorities that were recently ordered by the court to be destroyed. Stacked inside a chamber, the dangerous drugs were burned beyond recovery,” pahayag ni PDEA Director General Undersecretary Isagani Nerez.

Kabilang sa mga mapanganib na droga na winasak ay ang 404.9515 kilo ng shabu na nasabat ng pinagsanib na operatiba ng PDEA, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) at Bureau of Customs (BOC) sa interdiction operation sa Port of Manila noong 23 Enero, ngayong taon. (ALMAR DANGUILAN)
