The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Regional Office 1 recognized the 2024 SETUP PRAISE Awardees during Regional SETUP & CEST Summit at the DMMMSU-International Convention Center in Bacnotan, La Union, on December 9, 2024.
The PRAISE Awards for MSMEs celebrate outstanding micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that have excelled and flourished through the support of the SETUP program.
Leading this year’s winners is Costales Rice Mill from Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, hailed as the 2024 Regional SETUP PRAISE Awardee. The firm earned this prestigious recognition for its outstanding technological innovations, unwavering resilience, and commitment to sustainable practices. Costales Rice Mill’s efforts in modernization and its significant contributions to the community made them the trend-setter of rice mill facility in the region.
