WELL ATTENDED ang unang Celebrity Golf Tournament project ni MMDA/MMFF Chairman Romando Artes para sa 50th Metro Manila Film Festivalna ginanap sa Wack-Wack Golf and Country Club, Mandaluyong City kamakailan.
Pinangunahan nina Chairman Artes at San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora ang unang pagpalo bilang senyales sa mga manlalarong artistang may entry sa 2024 MMFF.
Dumalo sa Celebrity Golf Tournament sina Cristine Reyes, Marco Gumabao na representative ng The Kingdom handog ng MQuest Ventures Inc, M-ZET TV Productions, at APT Entertainment Inc.; Jayson Gainza, Atoy Co, Epi Quizon, Paolo Paraiso, Christian Bautista, Mitoy Yonting, Cesar Montano.
Dumalo rin at naglaro ang mag-asawang Vince Hizon at Patricia Bermudez Hizon, Daisy Reyes, L A Tenorio, Neil Arce, at ang producer ng Uninvited na si Bryan Diamante ng Mentorque Productions.
Ani Chairman Artes, masaya siya na maraming artista ang nakiisa sa event na parte ng 50th Metro Manila Film Festival.
“The tournament is part of the promotional activities of the MMFF’s 50th edition and at the same time a fund-raising event. Proceeds of the tournament will go to the MowelFund (Movie Workers Welfare Foundation); and a nonprofit and nonstock organization founded by First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos, which aims to showcase and promote the Filipino films in the international scene,” ani Artes.
Maghapon ang event at pagdating ng gabi ay isinagawa ang awarding. Si Enchong Dee ng pelikulang Topakk at mula sa Nathan Studios ang host ng awards night.
