NAG-ASAWA man hindi iiwan ni Lovi at hindi naman din siya pinagbabawalan ng kanyang asawang si Monty Blencowe na iwan ang trabaho.
Aniya, alam ng asawa niya na mahal niya ang pag-arte.
“I love my job, I love working so much and my husband knows it. And sabi niya, hindi na niya ‘yun mababago for me. He knows I’ve been working since I was 15 years old and sabi niya, ‘It’s not something I want you to change,’ and I’m grateful for that. He’s very supportive and we’ve been apart for six weeks, and it is not a typical set-up for most people. But you know what we’re making it work and we want to make it work and I’m just very grateful that he’s very understanding and he supports it,”paglalahad pa ni Lovi.
Sinabi ni Lovi na hindi typical setup para sa mag-asawa ang magkalayo at hindi rin iyon madali para sa kanila. Subali’t masaya siya na narito siya sa Pilipinas. At dito siya naninirahan.
“It’s not the easiest way to do, but I am happy where I’m at, and I’m happy being home here in the Philippines. The truth is yes, I have three different homes but the Philippines for me is still home. I may have projects abroad but iba pa rin siyempre rito.
“’Pag uwi mo, iba ang pagkain, iba ‘yung mga kasama mong tao, ang sarap mag-Tagalog ,’yung mga ganoonh simpleng bagay.
“Kaya I am just grateful that he’s there for me even if I am busy and we find time with each other,”aniya.
Inihayag din ni Lovi na handa na siyang maging ina.
“Sa lahat siguro ng roles na puwede kong i-play, probably being a mother will be the most difficult and most challenging ever. Because I’m such a perfectionist when it comes to the characters that I play, what more pa In real life?
“Because one thing I would like to do perfectly is to be a good mother,” ani Lovi.
“I just want to be a great mother. I don’t know, ang dami kong examples na I will call my friends and ask them how is it to be a mom and even simple as, when I see my mom how she treats me.
“You know, I’ve been raised by a single mother so parang you know, I hope I can be as good as her. I hope I can be good as my assistant and my road manager, they’re such good mothers tapos they get to take care of me as well.
“So ‘yun ang iniisip ko, I look up to these people and they are good examples kasi nga the fact they can go to work at the same time and take care of me na salimpusa lang naman ako tapos may kids sila. So it’s nice to see that, na ibig sabihin in the future kaya ko rin ‘yan,” giit pa ni Lovi.
