LIKAS talaga ang kabutihan ng puso ni Sarah Geronimo kaya hindi na kami nagtaka nang pasalamatan pa rin niya ang grupong G-Force gayundin ang leader at founder nitong si Teacher Georcelle Dapat-Sy.
Sabi nga ng Popstar Royalty sa panayam ni Mario Dumaual ng ABS-CBN,malaking bahagi ng kanyang showbiz career ang grupo ni Teacher Georcelle na nakasama niya sa napakahabang panahon.
“Gusto ko lang pong i-express ‘yung aking pasasalamat sa bawat isa po na naging bahagi nitong aking 20th anniversary concert.”
Nagpasalamat din si Sarah sa direktor niyang si Paolo Valenciano gayundin sa buong production department, at mga dancer.
“Sa music department, maraming salamat. To all the amazing dancers na nakatrabaho ko po, grabe ‘yung hard work nilang lahat. Medyo kulang po kami sa preparation but still…dapat one year preparation.
“Nakakatuwa kasi everything…well, may mga technical difficulties pero grabe kami nai-guide ni Lord. Sobra kaming blessed. Sobrang powerful ng prayer. Thank you, Lord,” sabi pa ng misis ni Matteo Guidicelli.
Natanong din si Sarah ukol sa G-Force na hindi nakasama sa kanyang concert, “Siyempre malaking bagay po sila ng career ko, and it would have been more magical if they were there. So, I wanted them to be there to celebrate my 20 years with me. Baka maiyak ako.”
Naging malaking usapin sa mga Popster at sa mga sumusubaybay sa career at personal life ni Sarah ang napabalitang “breakup” nila ng G-Force makalipas ang 16 taong pagsasama nila on stage.
Nagbigay na rin naman ng saloobin si Teacher Georcelle ukol dito. Aniya, “We’ve been training her and G-Force have been dancing with her for 16 years. She’s looking for growth as an artist and as a person. She wants to try other things.
“There were artistic differences and I wanna support her as she embarks on this new chapter even if it means stepping out for a while,” ani Georcelle kay Ogie Diaz.
“Mama Ogs, I did everything out of love and respect for her as an artist and a friend. Parang love team kami for 16 years, but this year gusto niya to try other things.
“This process was painful for G-Force. Most of them cried, especially the choreographers who have been training hard to bring out the best in her. It’s like a break up,” sabi pa ni Georcelle sa ipinadalang mensahe kay Papa O.
“SG wants something else, I want her to exercise that artistic freedom. But it’s also my right to exercise my artistic freedom. I had to pull out two months ago in March.
“Of course my team will always understand and respect my decision. This is me encouraging SG to experience that creative freedom and to be the ultimate decision maker in producing and directing her 20th anniversary concert,” paliwanag pa ni Teacher Georcelle.
