DAHIL sa pagtabo sa takilya at paghakot ng award sa Metro Manila Film Festival 2022 ng Deleter muling magko-collab para sa bagong proyekto sina Nadine Lustre at Direk Mikhail Red.
Ito ay sa Nokturno mula pa rin sa Viva Films at Evolve Studios ni Direk Mikhail.
Ipalalabas ang Nokturno ngayong 2023.
Ani Mikhail sa kanyang bagong pelikula, “this is about a primal and supernatural curse that haunts a rural Filipino family and the daughter who left them to live overseas.”
May ikalawang pelikula rin ang Evolve Studios, ang Helel na isang sci-fi spiritual horror film na ginawa sa near future tungkol sa Filipina astronaut na naka-encounter ng devil.
Sinabi ni Direk Mikhail, ang Nokturno at
Helel ay dalawa lamang sa mga ipinagmamalaking produkto ng Evolve Studios. Aniya, ang mga ganitong klaseng genre ang ihahain nila ngayon sa mga manonood at sa mga susunod pang taon.
“We will take wild swings, aim for spectacle and fresh concepts, yet ground them in sustainable and feasible production.
“Our films aim to be accessible and exciting to the everyday Filipino audience and will have the craft, production value, and sensibilities for international export as well,” sambit pa ni Mikhail sa naganap na presscon noong Huwebes sa Greyhound Cafe.
“We want to foster genre talent and collaborate with new and established artists and voices, to reinvigorate the industry and help diversify film output for the average Filipino audience,” ani Mikhail na siya ring nagdirehe ng Eerie at Birdshot.
Nagpasalamat din siya sa Viva Entertainment na nagtiwala sa Evolve Studios para mas mapalaki at mapabongga ang kanilang mga future project.
Sinabi naman ni Val del Rosario, senior vice president for content creation and development ng Viva Communications, Inc., itinuturing nila ang Evolve Studios, “as a means to future-proof its content offerings across genres and platforms.”
“We saw the potential of a strong partnership to continuously create quality genre films to reach the new growing audience whose viewing habits have changed due to globalization and rise of international streaming platforms. Viva believed and trusted my vision and voice,” sabi pa ni direk Mikhail.
