MARAMING netizens ang humanga kay Nadine Lustre nang sitahin ang isang iresponsableng driver habang nasa RoRo ferry at i-post nito sa kanyang social media account ang nangyari at kung paano niya pinagsabihan ang driver ng isang van na basta na lang nagtapon ng paper at plastic wrappers.
Post nito, “I picked it up, knocked on the door and asked the driver to throw it properly in a trash can. I don’t think I can forgive myself if I just stood still and let the trash go into the ocean.”
May paalala rin ito sa lahat na maging responsable sa pagtatapon ng basura, lalo na sa dagat o ilog. “Everything that we do to harm the earth will, eventually, come back to us. Maybe not now, but in the future. The universe has been so good to us. We are all so lucky to have a home that has everything we need.
