“He’d always say ‘The good that you do today will be forgotten tomorrow but do good anyway.’ I think he got that from a quotation. That was what he taught us, na your reputation is what makes you as a person so you have to guard that,” pahayag ng aktor.
He trained us to be business-minded. Bata pa lang ako, grade school, high school, we’d go out.
“Usually kasi we’d go swimming. We’d go to the beach when I was very young. We live in Cebu, so, malapit lang ang beach sa amin. We’d make it a point na we go to a beach. Or kung hindi, on Sundays, we go to this area in Cebu, Talisay, bumibili kami ng lechon and eat together,” balik-tanaw ng aktor.
“’Pag wala akong taping, if I’m not working, we usually spend time together especially during weekends. Kung minsan, like weekdays, kung may oras ako, like si Ashley nagkikita kami, we have coffee together.
Maria at Robin Padilla.
”There was some pressure kasi babalik kami sa timeslot namin uli and of course people were expecting a lot from us kasi dati naming hawak ang timeslot na ’yon, the viewership has changed.
“’Yung landscape ng viewership medyo iba na. Medyo kumonti talaga ang nanonood ng TV. They’re watching Netflix, Iflix.
“I think it would have been a normal reaction kasi niloko ka at wala kang kaalam-alam na hindi pala iyon ang taong pakakasalan mo. I think I would have reacted the same way also na you feel the betrayal talaga kasi you trusted the person, you loved the person tapos hindi pala ’yun ang pakakasalan mo.
“So now, his biggest challenge is trying to trust people kasi ang feeling niya, ‘Paano ko mata-trust ang tao kung ’yung mismong minahal ko ay niloko ako.’ He’s trying to get himself back on track kung paano siya magiging siya uli kasi nagbago ’yung bagong persona niya.
“Si Martin naman, he was a very fun-loving person, who was loveable sa staff niya, sa employees niya. He really believed in love pero nasira ’yon because of what happened kasi niloko siya ni Lisa at Mona,” paliwanag ni Richard.
“That we don’t know. I cannot say. Ang hirap pantayan ng ‘Be Careful,’ that’s expected. So, baka may chance,” napangiting say ni Richard.
