Baron, ‘pinatay’ na ni Direk Arlyn

NAKAKALOKA ang eksena ni Baron Geisler na inihian sa eksena ang character actor na si Ping Medina.

Sa post ni Ping sa Facebook sa galit na naramdaman niya kay Baron nagkaroon ng hashstag na #Cornetto na roon ikunompara ni Ping ang maselang parte ng katawan ni Baron.

“Napakabilis ng pangyayari. Naramdaman ko na lang na may bumabasa sa dibdib ko. Medyo mainit at may amoy. Unti-unti ko na realize na putangina, ginagawa niya talaga to. Umagos ito. Basang basa ang shirt ko. Umagos ito hanggang sa bibig ko. Buti may nakatakip na tape. One take lang dapat ang eksena: so sinubukan ko mag stay in character. Pero at the same time nawawala na ako sa character. Umiiwas na ako sa agos ng ihi, pero di ako makagalaw. Dapat nagmamakaawa ako eksena, pero ang nasasabi ko: putangina ka! Putangina ka! Putangina ka!,” bahagi ng post  ni Ping.

But you were trying to pull off a Brillante Mendoza, bulong ka sa artista na sampalin mo para magulat or maganda reaction. I was slapped many times. So I thought… ahhh… so it’s ok pala to surprise my co-actors sa set. So low po of you to discredit my name. You are better than that po. Mahal kita.

“I did not give any permission to Baron para iihian si Ping. Hindi iyon eksena. Wala sa script, walang instruction. His character, the temper and demeanor was explained to him. He told Ping, seconds before take, may gagawin ako, wag ka magagalit. Direk may gagawin ako, may nadinig kami sampal. Akala namin iyon na yun. Again, nag-rehearse kami kasi nga no monitor, at di uubra. Outpost tried different approaches pero di umubra. It happens, you shoot a scene without monitor. Do not tell me na walang ganun.

“There are always many sides to a story but everyone of us who were there knew what you did Baron.

I saw and experienced a sober Baron, respectful but a different person when drunk. Hindi ka makulit equivalent to one squad ang bilang.
