Nationwide curfew, liquor ban ni Duterte nilinaw

INILINAW ng tagapagsalita ni Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte ang ilang detalye tungkol sa pinaplanong nationwide curfew at liquor ban ng susunod na administrasyon.

Ipinaliwanag ni Peter Laviña kung bakit iniisip ni Duterte na ipatupad ang curfew at liquor ban sa buong bansa, na ipinatutupad niya ngayon sa Davao city.

“The curfew is principally for minors, unescorted minors, past 10 p.m. It does not include minors with their parents or guardians. This is to make sure that our children are in their homes, sleeping already, preparing for the next day in school,” saad ni Laviña.

Ayon kay Laviña, ang liquor ban sa Davao City ay ipinatutupad lamang sa mga establisimyento sa mga pampublikong lugar simula 1:00 a.m.

“The reason he has this liquor ban because we have to work the next day. Nothing to do with denying us our freedoms. When you go home, you can drink to your heart’s content in the privacy of your homes,” dagdag niya.

Ayon kay Laviña, maaaring magpalabas si Duterte ng executive order para maipatupad ang naturang plano ngunit mas makabubuti kung may maipapasang batas para rito.

Bukod sa curfew at liquor ban, ipinatupad din ni Duterte sa Davao City ang karaoke ban sa dis-oras ng gabi at no smoking sa mga pampublikong lugar.
