“It is not spoken about often enough but the reality is that they are a normal part of many people’s lives,” aniya.
“Many women feel ashamed to come into a sex shop but if you turn it into an exhibition and show the variety and inventiveness that has been demonstrated in creating vibrators on display, many don’t feel so embarrassed.”
“We were surprised not only at the items that we got from Serbia but also from abroad, particularly from the UK and America,” aniya.
“The story was in the local paper about our plan for the exhibition here and we put some stuff on the internet, and we just had loads of packages turn up.
“Our best attraction is a vibrator that once appeared on the TV series Sex and the City.
“There were also some really good personal stories. We had one that had been sent by a woman’s lover telling us it was being put into retirement now that they were together.”
(ORANGE QUIRKY NEWS)
