TINANGHAL na Bb. Pilipinas Universe ang 26 taong gulang mula sa North Cotabato na si Mary Jean Lastimosa sa katatapos na Binibining Pilipinas 2014 na ginanap noong Linggo sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Ang 24 taong gulang namang si Bianca Guidotti ang napili bilang Miss International at si Parul Shah ang Miss Tourism. Ang Cebuanang si Kris Tiffany Janson, 24, naman ang Miss Intercontinental at si Yvethe Santiago ang Miss Supranational.
Sina Laura Lehman at Hannah Ruth Sison ang First at Second Runners-up.
Ang reigning Miss Universe na si Gabriela Isler ang naatasang magtanong kay sa entrepreneur na si Lastimosa at ang tanong nito ay, “What is the greatest advantage of being a woman?”
Sagot ni Lastimosa, “The greatest advantage of being a woman is being able to compose ourselves. Just like here, we’re standing in front of thousands of people not knowing if they’re gonna cheer for us. But we try to compose ourselves, we keep the emotions and show the beauty that is in us. And tonight, thousands of people are here, celebrating the beauty of a woman.
Bukod sa pagiging Miss Universe Philippines, Best in Swimsuit din si Mary Jean, si Pia Wurtzbach naman ang Miss Philippines Airlines;
Miss Cream Silk at Miss Avon ang Miss Supranational na si Santiago; She’s so Jag 2014 si Pia Wurtzbach; Best in Long Gown ang Miss International na si Guidotti; Miss Talent si Gabrielle Tilokani; Miss Photogenic at Best in National Costume naman ang Miss Intercontinental na si Janson; Miss Friendship si Raquel Kabigting;
at Manila Bulletin’s Readers’ Choice Award si Ladylyne Riva.
Gradweyt si Guidoti ng kursong International Relations sa Ateneo de Manila University at marunong ng tatlong lengguwahe—Portuguese, English, at Filipino. Isang Certified Public Accountant naman si Santiago na nagmula ng Albay at si Shah naman ay isang Registered Nurse mula Pangasinan. Si Kris naman ay isang finance analyst mula Cebu.
