Samboy inalis na sa ICU

MALAPIT nang dalhin sa kanyang bahay ang dating Skywalker ng PBA na si Avelino “Samboy” Lim pagkatapos na maalis siya sa intensive care unit ng Medical City Hospital sa Ortigas.

Isang kamag-anak ni Lim ang nagsabing humihinga na si Lim at nasa stable na kondisyon ang kanyang mga vital organs kaya umaasa ang pamilya niya na tuluyan na siyang gigising mula sa kanyang coma.

Matatandaan na biglang hinimatay si Lim sa isang tune-up na laro noong Nobyembre sa Ynares Sports Arena sa Pasig .

Samantala, inilabas ng pamilya ni Lim ang isang statement tungkol sa kondisyon niya.

“We, the Lim family, Darlene M. Berberabe, and Samboy & Lelen’s daughter – Jamie Christine Lim, would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who prayed and continue to pray for Samboy.

“We also thank the attending doctors, Medical City Hospital , family and dear friends, and those who donated to the medical fund. The many thoughtful acts of kindness will continue to sustain us in this extremely difficult time.

“We will forever be grateful that you all came into our lives and gave us hope & strength. Please continue to include Samboy in your thoughts and pray that he will soon be healed! “And despite the anguish and the pain, we know that God loves Samboy and that “this too shall pass”!
