“NM Ivan Travis Cu secured the gold with 7 wins against his peers. The 7 rounds Swiss tournament was played on Tornelo with a time control of 15 minutes and 10 seconds increment,” sabi ni father/coach Teddy Cu.

“This win is a strong boost to NM Ivan and represents his second semifinal championship crown after finishing first in the recently concluded National Age Group Chess Championship Semifinals where he played in the U-14 open category last May 28 to 29, 2022.” dagdag pa ni Cu.
