BAGONG MAMBABATAS PINANUMPA NG KAMARA

TINANGGAP at pinanumpa ng Kamara ang bagong miyembro ng Ang Probinsyano partylist bunsod ng pagre-resign ng pangalawang nominee nito.

Si Rep. Edward delos Santos ng party-list na Ang Probinsiyano ay opisyal nang miyembro matapos panumpain ni Speaker Lord Allan Velasco kapalit ni Ronnie Ong na nagpalipat sa ibang partylist group noong Nobyembre 2021.

Ang bagong kongresista ay pangatlong nominee kasunod ni Ong at Rep. Alfred delos Santos.

“I would like to thank Speaker Velasco and our colleagues here in Congress for making me a new member of the House. I am also grateful for the opportunity that will be given to me to serve the public,” ayon sa bagong kongresista.

Sa hybrid plenary session ng Kamara noong Lunes tinangal si Ong sa opisyal na listahan ng Kamara.

“We thank Speaker Velasco and our colleagues in Congress for their support in our decision as they have finally implemented my official removal as member of the House,” ani Ong.

Si Ong ngayon ay pangunahing nominee ng AP (Ako’y Pilipino) party-list na binuo noong Nobyembre 2021 kasama sina Rey Tambis at Christopher Tio, respectively.

Ayon kay Ong suportado sila ng aktor na si Coco Martin.

“I am thankful to AP party-list for the nomination as its representative in championing our cause,” pahayag ni Ong. “My long-time friend, award-winning actor Coco Martin continues to support me,” aniya.

“We actually made the decision to move to AP party-list together because the sectors that AP party-list represents are aligned with our advocacies and the sectors we wanted to serve,” dagdag ni Ong. (GERRY BALDO)
