1,417 Pinoy abroad umuwi sakay ng 7 Cebu Pacific Bayanihan flights

SAKAY ng pitong Bayanihan flights, inihatid pauwi ng Cebu Pacific sa nakaraang dalawang linggo ang 1,417 Filipino mula sa Dubai, bilang patuloy na suporta sa repatriation program ng pamahalaan.

Katuwang ang special working group ng pamahalaan, lumipad ang espesyal na commercial flights mula Dubai-Manila noong 11, 13, 18 at 20 Oktubre; at Dubai-Davao mula 21 hanggang 23 Oktubre.

Bukod sa meal upgrade, nakatanggap ang bawat pasahero ng mga Bayanihan flight ng karagdagang 25-kg baggage allowance.

Kinakailangang sumunod ng mga pasahero sa ipinaiiral na health protocols, kabilang ang mandatory facility-based quarantine, pagsailalim sa swab test sa ikalimang araw sa mga fully-vaccinated, o sa ikapitong araw para sa mga non/partially vaccinated, matapos ang kanilang pagdating.

Nakipag-ugnayan ang Cebu Pacific sa mga hotel na accredited ng Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) upang matiyak na mayroong kaukulang pasilidad para sa mga OFW at sa kanilang mga kaanak.

Sasagutin ng Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) o ng Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) ang mga gastusin sa quarantine hotel at RT-PCR test ng mga OFW.

Samantala, sasagutin ng mga returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs) o non-OFWs ang kanilang testing at minimum na 6-day quarantine hotel reservations sa parehong BOQ-designated stringent quarantine facilities.

“The Bayanihan flights were mounted so we can bring more Filipinos home.  We will keep on working to provide more ways to help more Filipinos, as we enter the holiday season,” ani Alex Reyes, Chief Strategy Officer ng Cebu Pacific.

Simula noong Hulyo, nakapagsundo na ang Cebu Pacific ng 6,500 Filipino mula sa Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman, India, Vietnam, Lebanon, at Bahrain sa pamamagitan ng Bayanihan flights at charter flights na inorganisa ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Ang Cebu Pacific ang may pinakamalawak na domestic network sa bansa na mayroong 31 destinasyon, kabilang ang walo nitong biyaheng internasyonal.

Isa sa pinakabata sa buong mundo, kabilang sa 74-strong fleet nito ang dalawang ATR freighter at isang A330 freighter.
