IF EVER na ini-offer ang remake ng Doctor Foster kay Piolo Pascual, he would have gladly accepted if it would give him the chance to work once again opposite Judy Ann Santos.
Somehow, it would contradict his statement last March 2019 that he doesn’t want to work on a teleserye again.
“I was talking to my friends about it and I knew the casting long before.
“Sabi ko nga, kung tinanggap ni Juday, kung gagawin ni Juday, I’ll do it.
“I’ll do it in a heartbeat. It would be nice to work with her again.”
According to Piolo, apart from the fact that he owes Judy Ann a lot, he is also a big fan of the actress.
“Juday is Juday. I’m always gonna be a fan.
“Ang laki ng utang na loob ko do’n, I’m always gonna say that.
“If there’s a chance for us to work again, anytime, anytime.”
Hindi man napunta sa kanya ang proyekto, he is happy for the cast members of the Pinoy remake of Doctor Foster, who now has a new working title which is The Broken Marriage Vow.
“It could’ve been nice, but I’m happy for Zanjoe and Jodi. They’re my friends too, kayang-kaya nila ‘yun,” he said as an after thought.
Aminado si Piolo, nami-miss pa rin niya ang Kapamilya network for he still is a Kapamilya.
Anyway, pakiabangan raw ang pelikula nila ni Alessandra de Rossi.
Ang masasabi raw niya ay special project ito ni Alessandra. For one, she wrote the film, she produced and directed the film.
Iba raw ‘yung talent na mayroon ang dalaga.
Excited rin siyang maipalabas ang pelikulang nagawa nila ni Jasmine Curtis-Smith na Real Life Fiction, and is directed by Paul Soriano.
May nagawa rin daw siyang movie with Brillante Mendoza, in connection with the centenial celebration of the Philippines. Hindi pa raw ito tapos pero nai-shoot
na niya ang kanyang part sa movie.
Piolo was last seen in TV5’s Sunday Noontime Live. After that, hindi na siya napanood sa iba pang projects.
“I was never away,” he asseverated. “I took my time. I guess I just skipped TV. I wanted to focus more on being a probinsiyano.
“For me, my first love, my passion, has always been the movies. I love films, and that’s really my priority. I’m really gearing towards doing movies now.”
