“Apr 21, 2021 at 1:16 PM Ryan Garchitorena Yllana’s story.
“Salamat po ulit sa mga prayers.
“This is the story of my hospitalization, no hospital admits patients except if you have pcr test ready that you are covid negative.
“We went to Asian but to no avail. This needs emergency medical attention and needs an operation asap or I’m at risk of sepsis and losing my internal organs one by one as the hours gone by.
“My last resort was to call the owner of a hospital I know. I was admitted to Olivarez hosptial ER and quickly attended to. They got antigen and pcr tests right away and my surgeon quickly prepared me to get operated in 4 hours time.
“Unfortunately my appendix ruptured already but the good thing is the Surgeon got to clean it properly and placed back my intestines where they should be.
“The operation was a success.
“After a day, my bowel movement was working. I got discharged because my vitals are doing great and being at home would be best for my recovery.
“At home, I noticed a lot of fluid was discharging from my operation and was increasing daily. This was the time I opted to try and look for a way to st Luke’s because this is where my regular doctors are.
“The doctors attended to me and opened my sutures to release my infection. Their prognosis was since i had a big belly, I was prone to infection.
“The antibiotic that was given to me was rejected by my infection so I was given a stronger antibiotic.
“Both hospitals did their job well.. the problem was my weight and familiarity of medicines from my doctors. I just got operated to close my wound and i still need your prayers na Hindi na mag infect yung operation and mag seal na yung wound.
“This is the real story and I’m thankful for both hospitals for saving my life.”
