TRENDING the whole day of Tuesday, February 16, si Vice President Leni Robredo right after na ibasura ng Supreme Court (SC) ang electoral protest ni former Senator Bongbong Marcos laban sa Bikolanang politiko.
After 5 long years, the SC, through the President Electoral Tribunal (PET), has solidified Leni Robredo’s winning the vice presidency of the Republic.
Right after the election of May 2016, Marcos has filed an election case right after Robredo was able to beat him.
Lamang si Robredo ng 263,473 votes kay Marcos.
According to Marcos, nagkaroon daw ng dayaan kaya natalo siya ni Robredo.
As of press time, hindi pa isinasapubliko ng SC ang mga detalye ng dismissal ng electoral protest ni Marcos laban sa Bise Presidente, more so the basis for its decision.
Right after the final decision, nagkasunod-sunod ang tweet ng ilang celebrities, na avid supporters ni Robredo, in order to celebrate the success of the Vice President.
Past 12:00 noon, Agot Isidro retweeted the breaking news post of ABS-CBN in connection with the decision of the Supreme Court.
Agot asseverated): “this is making me super duper happy!”
“bye bye bong bong!”Jim Paredes also reposted the breaking news tweet of ABS-CBN.
He also has a short message for Marcos: “Game over bbm”
Actor-entrepreneur Enchong Dee, was able to connect the decision of the SC with the trending music video of his friend Moira dela Torre titled, “Paubaya.”
Lead actor sa music video ni Moira ang close friend ni Enchong na si Joshua Garcia, along with his former love team/partner and ex-girlfriend Julia Barretto.
Enchong tagged in his tweet Robredo, Moira, and Joshua.
His overflowing with excitement tweet: “Ang ganda ng araw ko lalo na sa Supreme Court Ruling in favor of @lenirobredo…

In a televised speech at past 7:00 pm, this Tuesday, Robredo expressed her thanks to her staff at the Office of the Vice President (OVP), along with her legal team.
Nagpasalamat din siya sa “lahat ng sumuporta, nanindigan at nagtiwala” sa kanya right after she was elected as vice president last 2016.
“Halos limang taon na ang nakalipas, ngayong araw nanaig ang katotohanan,” she said emotionally.
“Naniwala tayo sa katotohanan ng ating pagkahalal. Naniwala tayo sa proseso.
“Naniwala tayo sa integridad ng mga mahistrado sa Presidential Electoral Tribunal.
“Maraming salamat sa PET for their fairness and resolve.”
Now that the electoral protest of Marcos has been given an end, “ang hinihingi ko lang sa lahat, lalo na sa supporters natin, is to put this rancor behind us.
“Let us move forward together,” she asseverated.
When asked if the decision of the SC has altered her political plans for the year 2022, she avoided the question amused.
“Gusto ko munang namnamin itong araw na ito.
“Parang immersed pa kami (OVP) sa pang-araw-araw na pagtugon sa mga naapektohan ng pandemya.
“Pakiramdam ko parang kasalanan na political plans ang uunahin ko.”
Hiningan din si Robredo ng reaksiyon sa hayagang pagdududa ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte in her capacity to lead the nation.
Apart from this, President Duterte also said that the presidency is not suited for a woman.
“Hindi naman siya ang magdedesisyon kung qualified ako or hindi, ‘yung taumbayan ‘yung magdedesisyon,” Robredo said.
“Hindi ko naman dedepensahan ‘yung sarili ko.
“Ang sa akin lang, makabubuti sa ating lahat pag nakikinig sa mungkahi, sa pagpansin ng ibang mga polisiya.
“Nalulungkot ako na ‘yung response sa ating mungkahi ay pang-iinsulto.
“Pero hindi ko naman ‘yun kontrolado. Ang kontrolado ko lang ‘yung gagawin ko,” she openly said.
